Brush Lettering: Sans Serif is a beginner friendly class hosted by Lola Love Letter that aims to teach the basics of brush lettering through learning the sans alphabet, these are the letters without “serifs” on them. We’ll use her favorite tools and tricks of the trade.

Attendees will learn the basics of brush lettering, including brush stroke formation and letter formation. The class includes a hands-on workshop where attendees can practice their newly learned skills with the instructor.

Attendees will take home a Sans Serif Lettering Work Sheet and one brush pen so that you can continue to practice the art of hand lettering on your own.

Lite refreshments will be served and enjoyed throughout the creative process. This workshop is BYOB. Doors open at 5:45 pm with class starting promptly at 6:00 pm. A door prize will be awarded to a lucky participant.

The class is led by Cecile Madonna, owner of Lola Love Letter. She is a Hand Lettering Artist with a background in Graphic Design. She currently teaches Graphic Design at Elizabethtown College.
